ALARM: Modern Age Griffin
2025 | Multi-Channel Interactive Installation | 1+5+1 Screen
"Rooted in mythological memory as a blend of power, wisdom, and intuition, the griffin has long been a guardian of the sacred and the unknown. Standing at the gates of ancient civilizations, it symbolizes both celestial authority and earthly strength. Today, it redefines its historical symbolism through digital means, becoming an alarm sensitive to the unseen signals of global crises, linking past archetypes to today’s fragile ecosystems.
Ignorance, drought, radiation, rapid consumption, and the loss of human values appear in the symbolic limbs of the cheetah, gorilla, raven, molok, and cockroach. Each animal carries meanings inherited over thousands of years and translates them into a language shaped by real-time data.
No longer just a mythological figure, the griffin folds layers of time, acting as both a warning of collapse and a symbol of solidarity, continuing to exist as a living alarm that calls humanity to awareness."

This shield, on which our lives are directly connected, ensures that all data that precedes words and actions are securely transmitted and accepted, as well as forming the magnetic link of integrity with the universe. This bond, which weakens every time we get away from nature, reduces the strength of our shield at the same rate. This totem was created with the intention of reminding the connection between the universe and life and making it eternal."
